Judge Judy has settled the very first lawsuit she ever filed on her own behalf … and it’s a big win for her charity.

Judy had sued Connecticut personal injury attorney John Haymond, whom she claimed used clips from her show, intercutting shots of him and his daughters, to hawk his services. The spots ran on the NBC affiliate in New Haven.

Judy was pissed because she has never endorsed a product or a service because she feels it’s unjudgely.

In a statement to TMZ, Judge Judy says she’s reached “an amicable resolution” with Haymond and the settlement will benefit the girls of Her Honor Mentoring Program — Judy’s charity.

Sources tell us … Haymond is donating money to the charity … which pairs high school girls with professional women in the Westchester County NY area.
